A fun, fast and inclusive alternative watersport

Underwater hockey is a unique team sport played on the bottom of the pool using fins, a mask, snorkel and a short stick to move a puck. No contact, no pressure, just strategy, movement and teamwork, and it is taking off in schools right across Aotearoa.

It is ideal for students who:

• Are strong swimmers looking for variety
• Enjoy Flippa ball or Water Polo but want something different
• Thrive in friendly, mixed-age teams where everyone gets involved
• Love building breath control, confidence and connection in the water
• Want a welcoming community that is open to all genders

What to bring:

• Togs and a towel
• Any gear you have - mask, snorkel, fins (there will be limited loan gear available)
