Underwater hockey is a fast, fun, and inclusive team sport played by students across Auckland. Each year, Auckland Underwater Hockey runs a dedicated secondary school league for Year 9–13 players, in partnership with College Sport Auckland (CSA). With multiple divisions for all experience levels and strong participation across the region, it's the perfect introduction to a lifetime of underwater hockey.

League StructureThe school league runs during Terms 2 & 3 each year and includes four competitive grades:
The match format is 6-a-side with 2 x 10 minutes halves and a 1 minute half time. The season concludes with playoffs, and prizegiving in Term 3. |

It is a requirement that all school teams include at least three level one qualified referees for tournaments and weekly play.
