nORTHERN rEGION
Representative players from Auckland play for the “Northern” region in New Zealand’s two premier competitions – the NZ Interzone Championships for elite men and women, and the NZ U18 Interzone Championships.
Training is well underway for the elite men and women for this year’s championships, to be held in Wellington in April.
Trialling squads for the Northern region U18 are typically selected from the school qualifying tournaments held in June/July, with trials and training starting after the school season has finished in September/October. Watch this space for more information as we get closer to the time.
